Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Cultivate a stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
• Contribute actively to the development and implementation of departmental schemes of work and resources.
• Participate in wider school life, supporting extracurricular activities related to English.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pupil attainment, attendance, and well-being.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and a relevant degree in English or a related subject.
• Possess a genuine passion for teaching English and inspiring young people.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an experienced teacher (MPS/UPS) seeking a new challenge.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Demonstrate a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
• Show a proactive approach to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
