Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a modified curriculum to students with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
* Adapt teaching materials and methodologies to meet the individual learning styles and needs of each pupil.
* Collaborate closely with support staff and external agencies to ensure holistic student well-being.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting future planning accordingly.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working with SEMH students in a secondary setting.
* Exhibit exceptional behaviour management skills and a proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly.
* Demonstrate profound empathy, patience, and resilience when supporting vulnerable learners.
* Possess a genuine passion for making a significant difference to the lives of young people facing complex barriers to learning.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, building strong, collaborative partnerships.
