About the Role
Join an innovative school seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher for secondary-aged pupils. This fulfilling role involves crafting and delivering an adapted curriculum within supportive small group settings. You will be instrumental in fostering the development of young people with complex learning needs. We are open to various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement differentiated lessons that engage pupils with diverse special educational needs.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress meticulously, providing regular, constructive feedback.
* Cultivate a nurturing and accessible classroom atmosphere where every pupil feels valued.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to support holistic development.
* Formulate and review individualised education plans (IEPs) to meet specific learning objectives.
* Manage a small group of learners effectively, ensuring their safety and encouraging active participation.

About You
* Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a fundamental requirement.
* Demonstrable experience working with secondary pupils who have special educational needs is essential.
* A profound understanding of a range of complex learning difficulties will be highly valued.
* You can flexibly adapt teaching methodologies to suit individual pupil requirements.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial for this collaborative environment.
