Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored individual and small group support to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and proactively.
* Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils, promoting their self-esteem and engagement.
* Assist class teachers in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Support the emotional and social development of pupils, encouraging positive interactions.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* You have prior experience working in an SEN or specialist educational setting.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are calm, resilient, and adept at building rapport with vulnerable young people.
* You hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEMH or SEN.
* You are committed to promoting an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
