Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across the secondary key stages.
* Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Utilise a strong Chemistry specialism to enrich the broader Science curriculum.
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Actively contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular life of the Science department and the wider school community.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, particularly with a strong specialism in Chemistry.
* Be a passionate and inspiring educator, committed to igniting a curiosity for science in young people.
* Possess the ability to deliver high-quality teaching, whether you are an Early Career Teacher or an experienced professional.
