About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a inclusive school in the Buckinghamshire area, playing a pivotal role in maintaining educational continuity. This crucial position involves supervising classes across the secondary phase during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with their learning. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, reflecting your commitment and expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the smooth running of a vibrant educational environment, supporting student progress and wellbeing on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes, ensuring students complete pre-set work.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
* Communicate instructions clearly and concisely to students.
* Respond to student queries and provide appropriate support where necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents during lessons.
* Ensure the safety and safeguarding of all students in your care.

* You possess proven experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive rapport.
* You have a strong ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
