About the Role
An inclusive school in Witham, Essex is seeking a dedicated individual to join their specialist SEN provision. This vital role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex needs, fostering their engagement with an adapted curriculum. You will play a crucial part in promoting independence and building confidence within a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support to secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers to deliver an adapted and engaging curriculum.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural support strategies.
* Facilitate access to learning resources and create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Empower pupils to develop essential life skills and achieve greater independence.
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to regular assessment and reporting.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex special educational needs.
* Your commitment to fostering pupil independence and celebrating individual achievements is unwavering.
* You are adept at adapting communication styles to suit diverse learning requirements.
* A proactive and resilient approach to daily challenges within an SEN setting defines your professional character.
* You hold relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support.
* You are eager to contribute positively to a supportive school community.
