About the Role
A respected school in East London is seeking a dedicated individual to support primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This vital role involves providing tailored assistance within a specialist SEMH setting, fostering a positive and nurturing environment for young learners. We are keen to hear from candidates available for immediate starts, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and permanent opportunities, offering a competitive daily rate between £95 and £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke support to primary-aged children experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging situations calmly and constructively.
* Cultivate strong, positive relationships with pupils, acting as a mentor and role model.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans and support strategies.
* Encourage pupil engagement in learning activities and promote their overall well-being.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal growth of primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport swiftly.
* Exhibit a patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to working with vulnerable young people.
* Proven ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanour, even in demanding situations.
* Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for every child.
* Proactive and adaptable, ready to contribute positively to a dedicated support team.
