About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their primary team immediately. This pivotal role involves providing essential support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within a specialist SEN primary environment. You will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and facilitate small group learning, addressing complex needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115, beginning as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored individualised support to primary pupils with EHCPs.
* Deliver engaging and accessible learning activities to small groups of children.
* Assist pupils in overcoming barriers related to complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Contribute proactively to the creation of a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to implement pupil support plans.
* Promote positive behaviour and foster independence among all children.

About You
* You possess previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, ideally within a primary setting.
* A clear understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) is essential.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in your approach to pupil support.
* The ability to adapt quickly to diverse individual learning styles and needs is crucial.
* You communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* A genuine passion for nurturing the development and well-being of every child underpins your professional ethos.
