About the Role
A highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist secondary provision immediately. This vital role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering their engagement and progress within a nurturing environment. We are open to discussions regarding long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent engagements, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored behaviour support to secondary pupils requiring additional guidance.
* Assist pupils in developing effective emotional regulation strategies and coping mechanisms.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into the learning environment and classroom activities.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement individualised support plans and educational goals.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the specialist provision at all times.

About You
* Possess proven experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Demonstrate a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing complex behaviours.
* Exhibit resilience and a proactive attitude in a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and staff.
* Show a genuine commitment to improving pupil well-being, personal development, and academic outcomes.
