We are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join a inclusive school located in South West London, serving the vibrant Kingston upon Thames community. This rewarding role involves providing essential cover for classes across adapted curriculum areas within specialist SEN secondary settings. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, supporting students with a wide range of special educational needs on a daily supply and short-term basis, ensuring continuity and stability in their learning journeys. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs within adapted curriculum frameworks.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively to foster student progress.
* Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for all.
* Collaborate with support staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic student support.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents according to school policy.
* Be prepared to cover various subjects and year groups across the secondary phase as required.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong commitment to special educational needs.
* Hold demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged students who have diverse SEN requirements.
* Exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience when transitioning between different classroom environments.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and colleagues quickly.
* Show a proactive and flexible approach to daily supply and short-term assignments.
* Be passionate about fostering the academic and personal development of every student you teach.
