Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons across the secondary curriculum, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development of departmental resources and innovative schemes of work for Biology and Chemistry.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies within the science department.
• Participate fully in the broader life of the school community, supporting extracurricular activities and student development.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with the ability to teach Biology at all secondary levels.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in Biology, complemented by a strong specialism in Chemistry.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for inspiring young minds in scientific inquiry and discovery.
• Committed to continuous professional development and personal growth as an educator.
• Able to create a dynamic and supportive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
