About the Role
A flourishing school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computing Teacher to join its vibrant secondary department on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a compelling computing curriculum, fostering a love for technology and computational thinking in pupils across all key stages. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of our learners, preparing them for an increasingly technology-driven world.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver innovative Computing lessons across the secondary curriculum, engaging pupils of diverse abilities.
* Assess pupil learning effectively, providing constructive feedback that promotes academic growth and understanding.
* Cultivate an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils feel empowered to explore computing concepts.
* Develop and update schemes of work and resources, ensuring alignment with current educational standards and technological advancements.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of the Computing curriculum.
* Implement effective strategies to support pupils with special educational needs and those who are more able, ensuring differentiated learning experiences.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Computing or a closely related field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Computing, inspiring young people to achieve their full potential in the subject.
* Exhibit outstanding classroom management skills, creating a purposeful and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Show a strong commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
* Have the ability to differentiate lessons effectively to meet the varied learning needs of all secondary pupils.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to a supportive and forward-thinking department.
