Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, facilitating their learning journey.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging lesson materials and maintaining an organised classroom.
• Promote positive behaviour and foster an inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued.
• Support pupils with diverse learning needs, adapting approaches to ensure accessibility and progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
• Monitor and record pupil achievements and challenges, reporting progress to the class teacher.
About You
• Possess a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Demonstrate prior experience working effectively with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with pupils and staff.
• Show a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning.
• Hold a genuine enthusiasm for fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Understand and commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
