A supportive primary school located in the vibrant community of Bushey, Hertfordshire, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves providing essential support across various classrooms, working closely with pupils to foster their learning and development. We are looking for an individual qualified to Level 2 or 3 who can positively contribute to our engaging educational environment. The position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even a permanent opportunity, with an attractive daily rate ranging from £95 to £110, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to pupils, individually or in small groups, across the primary curriculum.
* Assist in the implementation of tailored learning plans for children with Special Educational Needs.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers to prepare resources and deliver engaging lessons.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil independence and self-esteem.
* Support classroom management and administrative tasks as required by the teaching staff.
About You
* You hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* You possess prior experience working within a primary school setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's educational journey is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role.
* You demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to diverse classroom needs.
* An understanding of various learning styles and experience with SEN support is highly valued.
