We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school, offering flexible contract options including daily supply, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles commencing as soon as possible. This crucial position involves managing classes and ensuring pupils remain on task with pre-set work across a variety of subjects, providing an excellent daily rate of £145 - £160 for your dedicated service. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting the educational provision within the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils effectively during the absence of their regular teacher.
* Clearly communicate pre-set work instructions to pupils.
* Actively manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies and procedures.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Collect completed work and return it to the appropriate department.
* Report any issues or concerns regarding pupil behaviour or wellbeing to the relevant staff member.
About You
* You possess prior experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
* You are highly organised, proactive, and capable of working autonomously.
* You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, building rapport with pupils and staff.
* You are adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic educational environment.
