This rewarding opportunity involves delivering an adapted curriculum to pupils with complex learning needs within small group settings in a specialist secondary school environment. We are considering candidates interested in long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £150-£250 depending on experience and role.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement engaging, adapted lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for pupils with complex needs.
* Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development.
* Contribute to the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs) for pupils.
* Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers regarding pupil achievements and challenges.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong passion for SEN education.
* Possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils with complex learning needs.
* Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils, staff, and families.
* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
