About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a supportive school community, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons within the secondary phase. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English specialist to foster a love of language and literature, contributing to an enriching educational experience for all pupils. The position offers a long-term, permanent contract and is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as those on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), with a salary paid to scale. We are keen to welcome a new colleague to our team for a September start, or sooner if available.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the English curriculum.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
* Engage effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil development and achievement.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong subject knowledge in English.
* You are passionate about inspiring young people through the power of language and literature.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* You thrive within a collaborative team and are eager to contribute positively to school life.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
