About the Role
A progressive school in the vibrant South East is seeking an exceptional Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science department. This permanent, long-term position, commencing in September 2026, involves delivering engaging and high-quality Chemistry lessons across the secondary phase, inspiring students to achieve their full scientific potential. You will be instrumental in fostering a love for science within a supportive and innovative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons to secondary students of varying abilities.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the Science curriculum.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance departmental provision.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to teach Chemistry effectively at secondary level, suitable for ECTs to UPS.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for science and inspiring young minds.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching methodologies.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with students and staff.
