About the Role
A well-established school in West London is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This vital role involves implementing EHCP targets, facilitating access to a broad curriculum, and fostering the development of essential independence and life skills. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with opportunities available for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £85-£110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Implement individualised Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets effectively.
* Facilitate the pupil's access to a diverse and engaging secondary curriculum.
* Promote the development of crucial independence and self-help skills.
* Support the pupil in acquiring practical life skills for future success.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and the SENCo to ensure holistic support.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex special educational needs.
* Hold a strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application.
* Display exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* Are passionate about making a significant difference to a pupil's educational journey.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
* Can work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
