About the Role

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for A-Level.
* Plan and prepare dynamic schemes of work that meet curriculum requirements.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment conducive to academic success.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.

About You

* Possess a strong understanding of the chemistry curriculum and its pedagogical approaches.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage a diverse range of learners.
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Be enthusiastic about science education and committed to student achievement.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Embrace a proactive and collaborative approach to teaching.
