Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver inspiring Physics lessons across the secondary curriculum, incorporating your Chemistry specialism where applicable.
• Foster a stimulating and challenging learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains dynamic and engaging.
• Collaborate effectively with department colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
• Uphold the school's commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational experience for all pupils.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
• Possess a deep and engaging understanding of Physics, alongside a strong capability to teach Chemistry effectively.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to motivate and engage secondary pupils in the study of science.
• Exhibit exceptional classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Committed to continuous professional development and eager to embrace new pedagogical approaches.
• A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute positively to a thriving departmental culture.
