About the Role
Join a progressive primary school environment in Central London, providing dedicated 1:1 SEN support to a pupil with complex needs, including ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairment. This deeply rewarding role offers the chance to make a profound difference in a child's educational journey, with flexible contract options ranging from long-term supply to a permanent position, commencing as soon as possible, and offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide highly personalised 1:1 support to a primary pupil with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Develop and maintain a strong, positive rapport with the pupil, understanding their unique communication methods.
* Implement and adapt targets effectively as outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Collaborate closely with external therapists and specialists, integrating their strategies into daily routines.
* Facilitate access to the curriculum and all school activities, adjusting resources to meet individual needs.
* Monitor and accurately record the pupil's progress and achievements, contributing to regular reviews.

About You
* Possess significant experience supporting children with complex SEN, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* Demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to fostering pupil development.
* Hold strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective liaison with all stakeholders.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and resilient when navigating diverse situations and challenges.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for inclusive education and promoting the independence of young learners.
* Maintain an unwavering commitment to safeguarding and prioritising the welfare of all children.
