About the Role
An exceptional school is actively searching for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide crucial, personalised assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This vital long-term opportunity, with options for daily supply or a permanent contract, begins immediately, offering a chance to make a profound difference in a young person's educational journey. You will be instrumental in fostering progress and promoting independence within a supportive secondary school environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver highly individualised 1:1 support tailored to a specific secondary pupil's complex needs.
* Implement and monitor EHCP targets effectively to support academic and personal development.
* Facilitate access to the curriculum, adapting resources and strategies as required.
* Proactively encourage and develop the pupil's independence and essential life skills.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to ensure a holistic support approach.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding pupil progress and achievements.
