About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join its specialist provision for primary-aged pupils. This long-term, permanent opportunity involves providing essential support to children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will play a vital role in fostering their development and ensuring their wellbeing within a nurturing educational environment. The position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120 for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care routines, maintaining dignity and respect for every child.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning and engagement.
* Support the implementation of individualised therapy programmes, as directed by specialists.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to achieve pupil goals.
* Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with complex learning needs, particularly PMLD.
* You have previous experience working with primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach defines your professional practice.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are a proactive team player, eager to contribute positively to a dedicated support team.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in SEN support is essential.
