Key Responsibilities
• Support the educational and social development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities and resources.
• Create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to assessment records and individual planning.
• Provide individualised support to children, including those with additional needs, fostering their independence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere.
About You
• Proven experience working with young children in an Early Years setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable for children, staff, and parents.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures within a school environment.
• Relevant qualifications in Early Years education (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, CACHE, or equivalent).
