Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the MFL department's curriculum and resources.
• Participate in school-wide activities and uphold the school's commitment to student well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching methodologies.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong specialism in French and Spanish.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for modern foreign languages and their cultural significance.
• Exhibit an ability to inspire and motivate secondary students of all abilities.
• Be an effective communicator, capable of building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• Hold a strong belief in every student's potential to achieve linguistic excellence, suitable for an Early Career Teacher or more experienced professional.
