About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated English Teacher to join a highly regarded school in the Dudley area of the West Midlands. We are seeking an inspiring and passionate educator for a long-term, permanent position, commencing in September 2026. You will be instrumental in fostering a love for literature and language among secondary pupils within a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral duties.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are eligible to teach English in the UK.
* Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), at Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), your application is welcomed.
* You demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English language and literature.
* A proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and inspire pupils of varying abilities is essential.
* You are a highly organised and adaptable professional with strong communication skills.
