About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded school, providing dedicated support to primary pupils within a specialist ASD provision. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, assisting children with autism spectrum conditions to thrive academically and socially. The position involves working closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored strategies that meet individual pupil needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement tailored learning activities and structured routines for primary pupils with ASD.
* Support the development of pupils' communication and social skills effectively.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging sensory strategies within the provision.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure an inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and review processes.
* Provide personal care assistance where necessary, maintaining dignity and respect.

About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Conditions, ideally within a primary setting.
* Possess a genuine passion for working with children and making a tangible difference to their educational journey.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to varying pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in SEN, particularly related to autism, is highly advantageous.
* Display a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting diverse learning styles.
