About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a vibrant science department at a inclusive school. This long-term, permanent opportunity, starting in September or sooner, invites an educator to inspire curiosity and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles among secondary pupils. The role offers the chance to deliver engaging lessons across the Physics curriculum, with opportunities to contribute to Chemistry teaching, supporting pupils of all abilities in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver dynamic and challenging Physics lessons across key stages, stimulating intellectual curiosity.
• Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil attainment and progress.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and encouraged to learn.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the science curriculum and share best practices within the department.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and whole-school initiatives.
• Provide constructive feedback to pupils, guiding them towards continuous improvement in their scientific understanding.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
• Possess a strong subject knowledge of Physics, with the capability to teach Chemistry to secondary pupils.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Be a dedicated and enthusiastic professional, committed to continuous personal and professional development.
• Whether an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator (MPS/UPS), you will be driven to make a significant impact.
