About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to become an integral part of our vibrant team, supporting the crucial developmental stages of our youngest pupils. This fulfilling role offers the chance to engage with children through play-based activities, contribute to their holistic growth, and help shape a positive and enriching foundation for their future.

Key Responsibilities
• Support children's learning and development through creative and age-appropriate play.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep, and personal care as required.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Observe and record children's progress and well-being, sharing insights with colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to plan and implement engaging activities.
• Maintain a positive and respectful rapport with children, parents, and fellow staff members.

About You
• You possess a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
• You bring relevant experience from an early years or nursery setting.
• You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
• You approach tasks with a proactive, patient, and nurturing demeanour.
• You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
• You thrive as part of a team, contributing positively to a collaborative working atmosphere.
