About the Role
A respected school in Newham, East London, is immediately seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for its specialist provision. This challenging and impactful role involves providing crucial support to secondary pupils experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. You will be instrumental in fostering positive behaviour, supporting emotional regulation, and facilitating pupils' successful reintegration into their learning environment. Flexible opportunities are available for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement tailored support strategies designed to meet individual SEMH requirements.
* Actively manage challenging behaviours with a calm, consistent, and empathetic approach.
* Support pupils in developing effective coping mechanisms and emotional regulation techniques.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
* Assist in facilitating pupils' re-engagement with the curriculum and their successful return to classroom learning.
* Contribute significantly to pupils
