Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students on the autism spectrum.
* Facilitate effective social communication skills and interactions.
* Implement strategies to manage and support students' sensory needs.
* Assist students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive environment.
* Help foster independence and build confidence in young learners.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs, particularly ASD.
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships.
* You are patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a proactive approach to support.
* Ability to adapt strategies and approaches to meet diverse individual needs effectively.
