About the Role
Join a dynamic school seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance to a primary-aged pupil. This vital role involves supporting a child with complex needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, or sensory impairment. You will be instrumental in building a strong rapport, diligently implementing Education, Health and Care Plan targets, and collaborating closely with external therapists. This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, or permanent arrangements, with an immediate start available, earning between £85 and £110 per day.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent and dedicated 1:1 support to a primary pupil with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Implement personalised learning strategies and EHCP targets with precision and care.
* Cultivate a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the pupil’s social and emotional development.
* Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, parents, and external therapists to ensure a holistic approach.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular reviews and future planning.
* Adapt activities and resources to meet the individual learning styles and sensory needs of the pupil.

About You
* You possess proven experience working with children who have complex SEN, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* An empathetic and patient approach is central to your practice, fostering trust and positive relationships.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective liaison with various stakeholders.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset allows you to respond effectively to evolving pupil needs.
