We are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join a supportive school immediately, providing essential cover for specialist SEN secondary schools. This dynamic role involves delivering engaging lessons across adapted curriculum areas within various SEN settings. You will be instrumental in ensuring continuity of learning for students with diverse needs, embracing the flexibility of daily supply and short-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual learning requirements of secondary SEN students.
* Skillfully adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate a wide spectrum of special educational needs.
* Proactively manage classroom behaviour using positive and inclusive strategies.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance student outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents.
* Cultivate a safe, stimulating, and highly supportive learning environment for all pupils.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within a secondary school environment.
* You bring significant experience working with students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
* You have a profound understanding of differentiated teaching practices and inclusive education.
* Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to connect effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* You are highly adaptable and resilient, thriving in various school settings and new situations.
