About the Role
A well-established school in West London is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs within its specialist setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an empathetic professional looking for a new challenge, with flexible contract options including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions available, commencing as soon as possible, offering a competitive daily rate between £95 and £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Implement effective de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours calmly.
* Offer one-to-one and small group mentoring to foster pupil development and well-being.
* Cultivate strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Support the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with the preparation of resources and organisation of learning activities.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
* You demonstrate a calm and resilient approach, particularly in challenging situations.
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effortlessly.
* You are passionate about making a significant positive impact on pupils' lives.
* You hold a relevant qualification or have practical experience in a similar support role.
* You are committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.
