About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a dedicated Biology Teacher to join a well-established school within the vibrant West Midlands region. Commencing in September 2026, this is a permanent, full-time role within a thriving secondary environment. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality science education with a specialism in Biology, inspiring pupils across various key stages.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
* Plan and prepare comprehensive schemes of work and individual lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence in science.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the broader school community.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high standards of pupil behaviour.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Hold a degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
* Demonstrable passion for the subject, eager to share knowledge and inspire young minds.
* Adaptable and enthusiastic, capable of teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a specialism in Biology at Key Stage 4 and potentially 5.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), a teacher on the Main Pay Scale (MPS), or the Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* Committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a team.
