This long-term, permanent opportunity involves providing essential support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a specialist PMLD environment. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational experience, contributing to the development and well-being of every child. This rewarding position offers a competitive daily rate of between £95 and £120, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning experiences.
* Implement bespoke therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals to achieve pupil goals.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to pupil care.
* Have experience working within a primary SEN setting, ideally with PMLD pupils.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with staff and families.
* Show initiative and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
