A dynamic school in the Daventry area is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Supply Teacher to join our supportive community. This vital role involves covering classes across adapted curriculum areas within our specialist secondary setting, providing essential continuity and excellent support for our pupils. We are looking for dedicated professionals able to step into diverse SEN settings, making a significant difference to young learners on a daily supply and short-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs within an adapted curriculum.
* Provide comprehensive support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with support staff to ensure pupil well-being and academic progress.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance and engagement.
* Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various classroom settings and pupil groups.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess experience working within a secondary SEN environment.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of pupils with special educational needs.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and colleagues.
* Exhibit strong classroom management abilities, maintaining a respectful and productive atmosphere.
* Be adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic and varied supply teaching role.
