About the Role
A flourishing school is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing primary environment. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs within a specialist setting. You will be instrumental in fostering positive relationships, implementing de-escalation strategies, and helping young learners thrive academically and personally. Flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent positions, are available, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120 with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Successfully implement de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
* Develop strong, positive relationships with pupils, acting as a trusted mentor.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities, adapting approaches as required.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to individual support plans.
* Collaborate closely with the wider teaching and support staff team to ensure holistic pupil development.

About You
* Possess proven experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH or complex SEN needs.
* Demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with pupils and colleagues.
* Show initiative and adaptability, thriving both independently and as a valued team member.
* Hold a genuine passion for making a significant difference in children's lives.
