This rewarding role involves working directly with secondary pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a specialist provision. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to their educational journey, with various contract types available including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored behaviour support strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
* Assist pupils in developing effective emotional regulation techniques.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils back into their learning pathways.
* Offer dedicated one-to-one and small group support for secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Collaborate closely with teachers to adapt and deliver engaging lesson content.
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individualised learning plans.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learners.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport effectively.
* Show resilience and a patient approach when navigating challenging situations.
* Be proactive and resourceful, taking initiative to enhance pupil engagement.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in SEN support.
