About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join the vibrant team at a respected primary school. This crucial role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils across various year groups, nurturing their academic progress and personal development within a mainstream setting. You will play a pivotal part in creating an inclusive learning environment, particularly assisting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to thrive. This opportunity offers immense scope for professional growth within a supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with SEN, to overcome learning barriers.
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other pupil-specific strategies.
* Foster a positive and safe classroom atmosphere, encouraging pupils' independence and self-esteem.
* Contribute to monitoring and recording pupil progress, sharing observations with the teaching staff.
* Support pupils during non-lesson times, such as playtimes and lunch breaks, promoting positive social interactions.

About You
* Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Possess demonstrable experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within a mainstream school setting.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to classroom support.
* Committed to ongoing professional development and enhancing your pedagogical skills.
