About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students on the autism spectrum.
* Facilitate and encourage effective social communication skills among pupils.
* Proactively manage and respond to individual sensory needs.
* Support students in accessing and engaging with the secondary curriculum.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans.
* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

About You
* Proven experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preferably in a secondary setting.
* A deep understanding of the diverse needs of learners on the autism spectrum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to various student needs.
* Demonstrable patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and behaviour management strategies.
