About the Role
Discover a fulfilling opportunity within an innovative school dedicated to exceptional SEN provision. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive ASD Support Assistant to join our dedicated team, providing essential support to secondary students on the autism spectrum. This pivotal role involves working within a specialist ASD setting, facilitating social communication, managing sensory needs, and supporting curriculum access across various subjects. We welcome applications for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent engagements, offering a competitive daily rate of £90-£115, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, tailored support to secondary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Actively facilitate and encourage effective social communication skills among pupils.
* Proactively manage and respond to individual students' sensory needs within the learning environment.
* Support students in accessing a broad and balanced curriculum across various subjects.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement individualised education plans.
* Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere for all.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally in a secondary phase.
* A genuine passion for fostering inclusive education and unlocking student potential drives you.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adapting your approach to individual needs.
* Proactive and resilient, you confidently manage a diverse range of situations.
* You are patient, empathetic, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment.
* A relevant qualification or training in SEN or ASD support would be highly advantageous.
