About the Role
A dedicated school in South West London is seeking an enthusiastic ASD Support Assistant to join their specialist primary provision. This crucial role involves providing tailored assistance to primary pupils on the autism spectrum, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will be instrumental in implementing structured routines, deploying effective sensory strategies, and enhancing communication support for individual learners. This exciting opportunity offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to primary pupils with ASD.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities within the specialist provision.
* Implement tailored structured routines to promote predictability and reduce anxiety for pupils.
* Apply a range of sensory strategies effectively to support individual pupil needs.
* Facilitate and enhance communication using appropriate strategies and resources.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor pupil progress and well-being.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with children with ASD in an educational setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils and staff.
* Show a proactive and adaptable approach to different learning styles and challenges.
* Hold a commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
* Be a reliable and patient individual dedicated to making a tangible difference.
