Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Physics curriculum, with the ability to teach Chemistry to a high standard.
• Assess student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental schemes of work and resources.
• Participate in the school's pastoral system, nurturing the well-being and personal development of students.
• Engage in extracurricular activities, inspiring broader scientific interests beyond the classroom.

About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT), Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) applicant.
• Hold a strong academic background in Physics, ideally with a specialism in Chemistry.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for your subject and an ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and securing excellent student outcomes.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and an adaptable teaching approach.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, collaborating effectively with colleagues and students.
