Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups with Special Educational Needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
* Implement specific learning strategies and interventions designed to meet diverse pupil requirements.
* Assist in creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to monitor pupil progress and adapt support plans.
* Support pupils in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills, fostering independence and confidence.
* Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil achievements and developmental milestones.
About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, preferably within a primary education environment.
* A genuine passion for inclusive education and a deep understanding of varied learning styles and challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to manage diverse situations calmly and effectively.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN, or be committed to pursuing professional development in this area.
