About the Role:
A well-regarded secondary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to join their thriving department. The school boasts excellent facilities and a strong, collaborative department that is committed to delivering outstanding computing education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 involvement.
• Inspire students to develop their computational thinking, programming, and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for GCSE and, where applicable, A Level Computer Science examinations.
• Utilise the school's excellent IT facilities to deliver practical, hands-on learning experiences.
• Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice within the department.
• Track and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and intervention where needed.

About You:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level, or a strong subject knowledge with a desire to develop.
• Strong programming skills and an up-to-date understanding of the computing curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for making technology accessible to all learners.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply — the department offers excellent support and mentoring.
