About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a flourishing school in Northamptonshire as a dedicated Science Teacher with a specialism in Biology. Commencing in September 2026, this long-term, permanent contract invites an enthusiastic educator to inspire pupils across the secondary phase. You will be instrumental in fostering a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry and biological concepts within a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Science and Biology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, potentially up to Key Stage 5.
* Plan, prepare, and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
* Maintain a well-organised, stimulating, and safe classroom environment conducive to scientific exploration.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards.
* Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and the wider life of the school community.
* Support pupils' academic and personal growth, fostering a love for the subject and encouraging independent learning.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality Science and Biology education, suitable for ECTs, MPS, or UPS teachers.
* Possess a genuine passion for your subject, capable of inspiring and motivating secondary school pupils.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
* Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
