You will play a crucial part in assisting with adapted curriculum delivery and fostering the independence of young learners. We are looking for an individual available for an immediate start, with opportunities for daily supply, short-term, long-term, and permanent contracts to suit your career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of differentiated learning activities and resources.
* Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development, encouraging independence.
* Support pupils' engagement and positive behaviour within the learning environment.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach.
* Contribute to monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and achievements.
About You
* Possess previous experience supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and staff.
* Exhibit a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges.
* Be proactive and adaptable, responding effectively to diverse learning needs.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN is highly advantageous.
* Show a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's educational journey.
